TEAM BUILDING

TO( (Previous) COLLEGIUM MEMBERS:

I miss you all...

Have you seen a family tree? Yes, you do. But what if I tell that the family tree you think you know is not the family tree that I have?

A big YES!

I have a dad. Her name is SHERLYN DELAPOS. YES, "her". She is the most gorgeous dad you will ever see. A dad could never be a dad without a wife. My mom was named as KARLA MAE MENDOZA. She was....is the most eco-friendly mom in the world. Wanna know why? Greener than green are her jokes. You know what I mean. But, I love her.

As a normal household, there will be no chaos without an affair. Well my Mommy Karla was too hot not to have another significant other- Ate Jay pasook!. Yes, Ate Jay was mommy Ka's "MYLABS".

FOOD FIGHT!

I have siblings too. I got Roy and Praisah. My half-siblings coz I don't really know who's child are they... well Roy calls my dad as "Papa She".

Whenever, you get sad, happy, lonely or even at your craziest moment, Ate Tina, Desh, Vhena, Jay, Lynjoy, Kuya Dennis and Sam were the people you want to talk to. They have good advises about life, life minus love and other personal matters.

I can still remember the picture above with the caption "FOOD FIGHT". I was fulfilled not by the food we ate but the happy memories we shared together.

I can still feel the morning breeze when I woke up during our assessment. I can still imagine each day going to the office excitedly, expecting that they were there laughing... talking... watching movies... EATING...

In the back of my mind now, I can still feel the warmth of their love... their mere existence  in each and everyday for the past 3 years.

Overjoyed by the previous years having them each morning and feeling contented every night as I sleep. However, my heart was shattered...piece by piece as they leave the four corners of our office where we used to laugh and cry.

My heart tells me that I am happy now of what they'd become. However, my mind so selfishly contradicts. Somehow, it wants me to see them. All of them. My mind longs to their presence. My heart longs to their laughter. Noise to others but music to my ears every time I hear them.

Every time I run the memories in my head, my eyes could not deny anything. Tears fall. Tears also dries.

I hope, they also want to see me as much as I want to see them...

Though we are apart as of this moment, the memories with them will be securely locked to the deepest part of my hippocampus.

"ANG SIMULA AY WAKAS. ANG WAKAS AY SIMULA".

Time result to change. Change result to something new. Because of change, the seeds are starting to grow and forming a new tree- NEW COLLEGIUM MEMBERS.

Change is not all bad results. Sometimes, it brings another branch so that you will learn to grow and create your own family tree.

TEAM BUILDING
It's been three years since  Praisah, Roy and I joined the school publication of UMTC which was and is still the same COLLEGIUM ( not Collig-gium, Coleygeum, College-ium).

It seems like yesterday that I and the other three were talking about joining an organization at school. As far as I remembered, I was the one who pushed Praisah, Swetzel and Roy to apply because I was told about their journalistic background since high school. And, they were too awesome to let their skills fade. On the other hand, I was not all that goody good. Though, I was part of the school publication during my elementary days but that was not enough. However, I still tried my luck to submit an application for a photojournalist.

At first, I felt jittery just by knocking the door of Colleguim office. Suddenly, someone opened it and it was Mommy Karla, a happy crazy and fun loving lady as I would say. From there, she interviewed the four of us about what were our  journalistic experiences and what were our interests.

To be honest, I was distracted by that time because the office was not a typical room filled with paper works and machinery for publication. But, it was occupied with fully depreciated couch and masks (somehow like the masks in Maskara festival in Bacolod). And, people with different characteristics and personality boxed in that four corners of the room.

(FAST FORWARD) Luckily, The three of us (Praisah, Roy and I) made it to the organization. As you can see in the photo above with a caption "TEAM BUILDING" was the first night out of my new found family. It was a fun night because we had games and open forum about first impressions.

During the charade game, I can still remember Kuya Quinn making body gestures about starfish and Ate Evenna's "Battleship". Air and the food were the contents of my stomach.

Time is an inevitable enemy of a happy person. Time flies so fast when you're happy and so slow when you're sad.

It pains me having seen them gone in that unusual office of ours. Some of them has already graduated and continued their life's journey. Some of them even migrated to other schools.

A defeaning silence I experienced when I was alone at the office. No more laughter. No more crazy green jokes from Mommy Karla. No more Godly verses from Ate Tina. No more "melon melon shake ecklavo" from Kuya Dennis. And lastly, no more self-proclaimed and bubbly Praisah.

Sadness. It lingers to the deepest part of my soul. Tears were falling...

Now, the time has come. Roy, Ate Lynjoy, Zarry, JM, Kuya Quinn and I are the remaining batchmates. We will end up the same fate. Leaving the young ones and will continue with our own lives. But, I am still happy being part of a great family of complex family tree. I am so grateful to God for giving me a vasts opportunity to enjoy each time having them.

I will always and forever love the one and only COLLEGUIM FAMILY.

Ako'y Tinamaan

Today, I came across with a song in Myx. It's "Akoy Tinamaan" by  Reo Brothers. The song is so catchy so I was easy hypnotized by its melody.

 Here's the lyrics.

Bakit ba nang makilala ka hindi na makatulog sa bawat saglit ay iniisip ka
di mapigil ang sarili na hindi ka makikita
anong meron ka?
meron kabang gayuma?
sana ay muli kitang makita
puso ko'y sapol sa'yong talaga
ngunit pano mo naririnig
pano mo nababatid
ang tinitibok ngayon ng aking dibdib
Ako'y tinamaan puso'y tinamaan
sadyang ikaw lang ang tanging dahilan
walang iniisip walang nalalaman
kundi ikaw lang pagkat ikaw ang mahal
tunay na lahat ay hahamakin
pag iyong nararamdaman
araw at gabi ako'y nag-aabang sa'yot umaasa
baka sakali na ikaw ay makasabay
yon pala'y yon ang sandali
na lagi kong hinihintay sabi mo pa nga
wag kang papatay-patay
at ngayon sa'yoy nalaman ko na
pagtingin sakin ay mayro'n ka
at palagi kong naririnig
lagi mong sinasambit
pag-ibig mo'y tunay na abot langit
akoy tinamaan puso'y tinamaan
sadyang ikaw lang ang tanging dahilan
walang iniisip walang nalalaman
kundi ikaw lang pagkat ikaw ang mahal
tunay na lahat ay hahamakin
pag iyong nararamdaman
akoy tinamaan puso'y tinamaan
sadyang ikaw lang ang tanging dahilan
walang iniisip walang nalalaman
kundi ikaw lang pagkat ikaw ang mahal
akoy tinamaan puso'y tinamaan
sadyang ikaw lang ang tanging dahilan
walang iniisip walang nalalaman
kundi ikaw lang pagkat ikaw ang mahal
tunay na lahat ay hahamakin
pag iyong nararamdaman
tunay na lahat ay hahamakin
pag iyong nararamdaman

Relationship Goals

The moment you see your crush. The feeling... The view... The surges of adrenaline... And then BOOM! It was all a dream

I was in the line waiting to get a ticket of the movie Crazy Beautiful You. Well, just like the other KATHNIEL movies this is also a box office. Can you imagine going out to the cinema as early as 9 AM and get the tickets around 12 noon? The line was so tough. Each one of the movie goers lined up from the third floor down to the second floor.

Well so much about the movie. Let us go to the reason why I wrote this article. It's not a guessing game. Like everyone knows and fantasize having a fairy tale like relationship.

Girls and boys, it is normal. We are all subject to the philosophy of having a happy ending with someone we love.

In my opinion, sino ba naman ang tatanggi kung ang magiging syota mo ay kasing ganda at sexy ni Kathyn Bernardo? Its not all of that because she is also talented.

Some of us are longing for someone to knock on their doors and present the happy ending. #Martyr

Some of us are still longing to that someone who do not care for you for too long. #Unrequited #Hopeless Romantic

Some of us are giving all the love we could give to somebody who could not return the same. #TANGA

Are we suppose to live in our fantasy while others are enjoying the fairy tale we hoped for?

I guess, it depends on the choices you are about to make.

In my opinion, let cupid strikes the heart of someone out their with his arrow. And I will let God decide for our story.

Its not a bad thing to have your fantasy as long as you're living in your reality. Because, when you pray be specific, be realistic. #OPTIMISTIC

THE SUMMER WORTH REMEMBERING!

Starting from girls (left) Zarry, Joebe, Praisah, Mavis, Maribeth and Bianca. The boys are, Mackoii (me), Paul and Roy.
Summer has already come. Well, as of the moment, I haven't gone to the beach or pool because of tiring and restless days of having my schedule fixed for my On-the-Job Training.
Even though, that is my current situation, summer is not yet over. I still have a lot of time to relax and pamper myself. However, this time of the year brought a lot of memories to be treasured for a lifetime.

Last year, I was with my friends ( Zarry, Joebe, Praisah, Mavis, Maribeth, Bianca, Paul and Roy) celebrating the end of the tiring and nerve breaking exams. WOOAH! Accounting course was never a joke. WE NEED TO BE SERIOUS ABOUT IT. If not, we will end up shifting.

Anyway, we went to Paul's house and we stayed there for a while. And guess what? Paul's family was happy to finally meet the friends of their beloved son. Well, they are so accommodating and you will be tempted to stay a little bit longer. We, on the other hand, are so overwhelmed. Paul's mom even cooked for us. How lovely right? Can we resist the temptation of the beach and followed by the mouth watering dishes cooked by Paul's mom. I guessed, not.

As you can see in the photo..( is that even a photo?????? ) we were in the wacky mode. We made the beach like our playground.

Aside from that, these girls made me an instant photographer. They posed and posed like there is no tomorrow. As you can see below, HOT CHICKS all the way.

Praisah (from left), Mavis, Maribeth, Bianca and Zarry are the IT GIRLS. HOT and SPICY. Get one of yours now!LOL. I was just kidding.

The overall trip was tiring but... the ULTIMATE FUN nailed it! This was the summer worth remembering.

HOT HOT SUMMER!

IN LOVE PA MORE

Hindi lang mga babae ang marunong mainlove. Ayon nga kay Robin Gibb "BOYS DO FALL IN LOVE".

Look my friend here. Its actually quite obvious. Good luck with that bro.

Featuring: Girlfriends - Girl bestfriends

THESE two girls above are one of my crazy friends. YES! They always drive me crazy.

Zarry (left) and Charie (right) are best of friends since highschool. Paano kami nagkakilala? Well, because of common friends and from then on they became part of my circle of friendster!

Zarry, the hot chick with crazy talent. She's a photographer and also a crown earner as 3rd runner up. How chick right? She's a techy child... a lot of gadgets if you know what I mean.

Charie on the other hand, is the source of our crazy ideas. She's kind, beautiful and very bubbly. Talents? Yes, she does have talents. She has a great interpersonal skills. I can say that she's the lace that binds us together.

I LOVE THESE TWO.

TE! YOU ARE MY ONLY WORLD - Mackoii

There is a girl at school... and there is a boy looking at her every time she's around.

TE is a smart, beautiful and profound girl, the same age as me. We always meet at the hallway. I don't know if she knows that I like her.. like a lot.

It's crazy and cool to think that a boy like me actually likes a girl far different from her.

Well, she's a cool kid. Im not. She's smart. Im not.

There is no way she will like me...

You know what I did, I always looked at her in the side of my eye hoping that somehow she will see me and like me as well.

All I want to say to her, each and everyday is...

YOU ARE MY WORLD. YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING.

Still our story is yet to come! KAYA KO TO!

#GGSS- Gagong-gago sa Sarili

Di ba dapat tuwing umaga, good morning ang tama greeting. Ngayong moderno na ang pamumuhay, eto ang bagong greeting.
<--------------------- "Gwapo ko talaga"

WOAAH!! #$%^&*() na paka GGSS ng kaibigan ko.

SOCIAL ISSUES just got CAPTURED!

MY FIRST PHOTOJOURNALISM CONTEST!

Lesson learned about taking pictures:
  • You can tell story without using words.
  • The camera is not the most important tool. It's the photographers creativity.
In life, we always use our eyes to see things around us. But, why do we fail to recognize the struggles of others? Are we blind to see? Or embodying some kind of illusion that everything is just fine.

The pictures above are the reality which the camera captures every single single detail. The lines, curves and the subject are not just techniques but stories forming different perspective in life.
